Our Services
Local Hawaiian students often lack the connections necessary to succeed sustainably. Kanaka Waiwai connects Hawaii high school students with young adult mentors who can be a sounding board, either for support in school or for their efforts in getting into their dream schools and careers.
All in all, we believe “A’ohe hana nui ke alu ‘ia.” No task is too big when done together by all.
College Essay Brainstorming
$20 (1 Credit)
Students can log into a session with other students to generate ideas for their college essays
One-on-One Mentorship
$40 (2 Credits)
Students schedule an hour-long individualized session with a mentor who can support their efforts to get into a dream college.
One-on-One Tutoring
$60 (3 Credits)
Students can schedule an hour-long session for assistance with their school work or other academic endeavors
